The Miami Heart Gallery
OBJECTIVE:
The Miami Heart Gallery is an online multimedia exhibit created to find forever families for children in foster care. The Heart Gallery of America is a collaborative project that includes over 120 Heart Galleries across the United States and its growing. The Heart Galleries are designed to increase the number of adoptive families for children needing homes within a community. The Gallery model is being replicated in many communities across the country, including our Miami community.
The Miami HeartGallery has featured more than 300 children, with more than half finding permanent homes in Miami and other parts of the country. Photo shoots have taken place throughout Miami-Dade County at an eclectic group of iconic sites. The sites have ranged from the nationally renowned Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts and the lush green field of dreams at Marlins Park, to the vibrant, art exhibit-like spaces of the Miami Ad School.
The site is dedicated to increasing awareness for over 150 foster care children in Miami-Dade who are in need of permanent homes.
The individuality and spirit of each child was captured by some of the world’s top photographers, who generously donated their time and talent. In addition to the captivating portraits, The Miami Heart Gallery is among the only several in the country with audio messages from waiting children.
These messages allow you to hear their hopes and dreams for the future. If you’re interested in adopting, fostering or volunteering, the Miami Heart Gallery website has a photographic journey with links to resources filled with all the information you need to make an informed decision.
From Maine to California and Florida to Washington state, these dedicated Heart Gallery planners have added their own touches. Through hard work and the generosity of their communities, they have helped these special children step out from the shadows into the light. Iblesoft was proud to be a part of this project and help increase awareness of the Children’s Trust Miami Heart Gallery.
